How to use your Weather-Resistant Plastic Wallets

Some of our Route Guides come with free (optional) weather-resistant plastic PVC wallets. These are designed to make the practical use of our Route Guides easier in wet weather - to help you use them effectively without the guides getting wet.

Here is how to get the best use out of these wallets :-.

(1) Remove the guidebook from the wallet

(2) Locate the page and map you want to use and fold back the booklet

(3) Replace the plastic weather-resistant cover, open end DOWN, over the top of the Route Guide

(4) The Route Guide is now ready to use out on the trail, with the rain running off, protecting the Route Guide underneath.

DISPOSAL: The PVC wallets are generally NOT recyclable through household schemes, so should be deposited in general waste.
