The Complete Dales High Way Duo is the perfect guide and companion to the long distance walk covering 90 miles from Saltaire to Appleby-in-Westmorland. Two books designed to complement each other.

It includes the original Route Guide, specially designed for use as the primary route guide for the walk, being robust, pocket-sized and with detailed route maps carrying instructions ON the maps themselves. It comes in a free (optional) handy weather-resistant plastic wallet.

It also includes the new Companion, which explores the fascinating geology, history, culture and wildlife of the places visited. It is designed to help you get the maximum enjoyment from your walk, whether it's finding rock art carved by our Stone Age ancestors, spotting an early purple orchid or visiting the best preserved medieval castle in England. This book includes a detailed description of the route, which neatly cross references with the Route Guide.
